A cleared and graded lot between two coastal homes

Land Clearing

Overgrown lots, storm debris and site prep. Cleared, hauled, and left at a grade you can actually work on.

Depth is the difference

Clearing isn't the same as grubbing

These two words get used as if they mean the same thing, and the gap between them is roughly a metre of root.

Questions

Land clearing questions

What is the difference between clearing and grubbing?

Clearing takes everything above the ground line. Grubbing takes the stumps and root balls out as well, so the ground can be built on. A lot that's cleared but not grubbed will settle.

Can you haul the yard debris after a storm?

Yes. Downed limbs, fencing and general storm debris is regular work for us here.

Do you leave the lot graded?

We can knock it back to a workable grade. If you need it to an engineered spec, say so early so we bring the right machine.
